In 1990 the organization was formed when the need for bikerís assistance arose. In 1991 the first fund raising rally
was held to assist a fellow stricken biker. Due to the success of that first rally, the tradition became a yearly event.
In 2002 increased demands warranted a second rally that year. The Halloween rally was such a hit, that it too has become
a yearly tradition and includes costume contests for children as well as adults.
For both yearly rallies, in addition to the many biker games, poker runs, children's games and individual games and contests,
Bikers for Bikers holds the fund raising auction. Meal tickets are included for Saturday night. There is also a Sunday morning service.
The Bikers Park in Magnolia was the site for both rallies, as it had camping
facilities including hot showers, and many non bikers or wish to be bikers came to appreciate the spirit of these fund raisers as well,
and realize the difference they can make.
The Bikers Park has moved to its new location in Kenedy, Texas now but the spirit of the original bikers park and biker runs is still with us. The new site has plenty of
camping facilities including hot showers, vendor sites, covered dance floor and of course our Wall of Memories.
